In this week’s club meeting, we will be discussing the fact that cancel culture isn’t real and that the most recent example of this is with Ethan Klein. Ethan Klein, founder of h3h3 productions, was recently exposed for having a Reddit account with the username pedo_troll (I wish I was kidding) linked to him that was used to discuss what I assume you can imagine were disgusting topics. I don't even know where to start with this one.

The “it’s satire” defense

In this week’s club meeting, we will be discussing this new phenomenon that seems to happen every time an artist puts out something that isn’t well-received by the general public, which I am calling “it is satire.” In the last few months, I have seen countless examples of artists putting out blatantly problematic art that the majority criticizes, only for them and their stans to defend the work in the name of “satire”. I fear people don’t know what satire actually is anymore, and it’s driving me crazy.
